Operation
Here are the options available depending on your mount.

Inside Mount:

1. Combination Roll - Back blind is back rolled & front blind is front rolled.
2. Front Rolled - Both blinds are front rolled

Outside mount:

1. Back Rolled - Both blinds are back rolled
2. Front Rolled - Both blinds are front rolled
3. Combination Roll - Back blind is back rolled & front blind is front rolled.

I Seek Blinds uses the best available aluminium roll tube for its roller blinds. This prevents any bowing of the roll tube resulting in wavy fabric. These specifications are the highest in the industry.

For blinds up to 2500mm wide we use 38mm aluminium roll tube.

For blinds widths greater than 2500mm we use 50mm aluminium roll tube.

(also used for blinds widths between 2100 & 2500mm wide with a drop greater than 2100mm)

Things to Remember

Always use a steel tape for accuracy - make sure the tape measure is straight and tight when you take your measurements

Always measure in millimetres (mm)

Measure all windows, even those that appear to be the same width and height

Do not take any deductions (i seek will do this for you)

Determine Type of Mount & Operation Type

Firstly you need to consider whether you can mount your blinds on the inside or outside of your window frame. The depth you need to flush inside mount your double roller blinds is 122mm for the 'Front Rolled Operation' & the 'Combination Roll Operation', however this can be as little as 60mm if you choose the 'Standard Installation Operation' (details below).

In most cases the Sunscreen blind will be the back blind and the block out blind at the front. This can be reversed when you are outside mounting these blinds and wish to keep the block out blind closest to the window for better privacy and room darkening.

Choose which side you want your controls - either left or right and confirm you have measured the inside of the frame.

Outside Mount

Measure Roller Blind Outside Mount

To measure a double roller blind on the outside of your window frame measure the width from the edge of the architrave to the edge of the architrave at the top of your window frame.

Measure the drop from the top of the architrave to the bottom of the architrave. This measurement may be increased if you want your blind to drop past the bottom of your window frame or to the floor.

Choose which side you want your controls - either left or right and confirm you have measured the outside of the frame.

I Seek Blinds will not make any deductions for outside mounted blinds.

Multiple Double Roller Blinds Together (Sliding Doors)

The same applies for multiple blinds as per the instructions above however, in this case you can mount the brackets back to back. If your window frame has three equal panels measure the overall distance and just divide by three.

If your sliding door or window panels are not equal, measure each section one at a time. The combined measurements that you give should be the same as the overall width. Once again measure the drop as per the instruction above.

Inside Mount

Your blind will come with installation brackets and screws. Follow these steps for an easy installation:

With your blind you will receive two brackets - Figure 1 & 2.
Place 2 screws in each bracket as per Figure 1 & 2
Install the lower blind first.
Install the pin end of your blind (not the chain end) into the centre hole of the bracket. Compress the blind toward this bracket - this will allow you room to maneuver the chain drive end inside the other bracket.
The chain drive has two teeth which are placed into the two vertical slots on the bracket and then gently dropped into place.
Now install the top blind.
Install the pin end of your blind (not the chain end) into the centre hole of the bracket. Compress the blind toward this bracket - this will allow you room to maneuver the chain drive end inside the other bracket.
The chain drive has two teeth which are placed into the two slots on a 45 degree angle on the bracket and then gently dropped into place.
Your blinds are now installed - they can now be lowered using the chain control.
Install your child safe device to secure your chain.

Outside Mount

Your blind will come with installation brackets and screws. Follow these steps for an easy installation:

Pencil mark your bracket holes then drill a pilot hole in the middle of each marking with a 2mm drill bit. (Figure 3)
With your blind you will receive two brackets and end caps - Figure 5.
Place a screw into your two pre-drilled holes in each bracket as per Figure 4.
Place the end caps over the outside of the bracket as per Figure 5 - Your end caps are marked left and right and also have an arrow showing the up direction.
Install the lower blind first.
Install the pin end of your blind (not the chain end) into the centre hole of the bracket. Compress the blind toward this bracket - this will allow you room to maneuver the chain drive end inside the other bracket.
The chain drive has two teeth which are placed into the two vertical slots on the bracket and then gently dropped into place.
Now install the top blind.
Install the pin end of your blind (not the chain end) into the centre hole of the bracket. Compress the blind toward this bracket - this will allow you room to maneuver the chain drive end inside the other bracket.
The chain drive has two teeth which are placed into the two vertical slots on the bracket and then gently dropped into place.
Your blind are now installed - they can now be lowered using the chain control.
Install your child safe devices to secure your chains.

To remove your blind

Put both blinds in the up position.
Remove the front blind first.
Raise the chain drive end 3-4mm and compress the blind toward the pin end.
Blind will release from chain drive bracket - pull forward and remove blind.

Sunscreen Blind

Remove dust with vacuum cleaner or compressed air. Do not scrub.
Do not use solvents or any abrasive substance that might damage the coating of the fabric.
Clean with a sponge or soft brush dipped in soapy water.
Rinse with clear water.
Leave the blind down until completely dry.

Fiesta Blockout

Dust regularly and remove marks by sponging gently with mild detergent in luke warm water.

Palm Beach Blockout

This fabric should be regularly dusted/vacuumed with the appropriate attachment.
Do not wash/dry clean. If spot cleaning is required, test in inconspicuous area first using a mild detergent solution.
Do not allow blinds to become fully wet.
Use damp cloth only.
Warm iron if required.

Urban Shade Blockout

This fabric should be regularly dusted/vacuumed with the appropriate attachment. Do not wash/dry clean.
If spot cleaning is required, test in inconspicuous area first using a mild detergent solution.
Do not allow blinds to become fully wet.
Use damp cloth only.
