Our Commitment to Quality All our holland blinds are cut using the latest crush cutting technology which cuts and seals the fabric preventing frayed and wavy edges. Our holland blinds made with blockout fabric are perfect for bedrooms. All fabrics are sanitised to resist rot and mildew, a great advantage for use in kitchens and bathrooms. All i seek holland blinds are made with Acmeda components and roll tubes. Acmeda are considered leaders in the manufacture of quality components and are regularly copied by cheaper overseas competitors. I Seek Blinds uses the best available aluminium roll tube for its holland blinds. This prevents any bowing of the roll tube resulting in wavy fabric. These specifications are the highest in the industry.
For blinds up to 2100mm wide we use 40mm aluminium roll tube.
For blinds widths between 2100mm and 2600mm we use 45mm aluminium roll tube.
For blinds greater than 2600mm wide we use 45mm heavy duty roll tube

Kiribati Light Filtering Our Kiribati Light Filtering & Room Darkening fabric has the appeal of an all-natural Blind Fabric but is made of 76% Polyester / 24% Cotton. This fabric provides more than 97.5% protection against the sun’s harmful rays making it a quality fabric. It comes in a range of 6 Light Filtering and 3 Room Darkening colours. Things to Remember

Always use a steel tape for accuracy - make sure the tape measure is straight and tight when you take your measurements

Always measure in millimetres (mm)

Measure all windows, even those that appear to be the same width and height

Do not take any deductions (i seek will do this for you)

Inside Mount

Measure Roller Blinds Inside Mount

Generally inside mounted holland blinds are front rolled which means that the fabric rolls off the front of the roll tube to avoid any knobs, handles, winders or the inner window frame that may obstructed the blind (refer to the images below).

To measure a holland blind on the inside of your window frame you need at least 60mm depth for a flush mount.

Do not take any deductions as we will do this for you.

Choose which side you want your controls - either left or right and confirm you have measured the inside of the frame.

Outside Mount

Measure Roller Blind Outside Mount

Generally all outside mounted holland blinds are back rolled to ensure the fabric stays tight to the architrave for maximum privacy and light control.

To measure a holland blind on the outside of your window frame measure the width from the edge of the architrave to the edge of the architrave at the top of your window frame.

Measure the drop from the top of the architrave to the bottom of the architrave. This measurement may be increased if you want your blind to drop past the bottom of your window frame or to the floor.

Choose which side you want your controls - either left or right and confirm you have measured the outside of the frame.

I Seek Blinds will not make any deductions for outside mounted blinds.

Multiple Holland Blinds Together (Sliding Doors)

The same applies for multiple blinds as per the instructions above however, in this case you can mount the brackets back to back. If your window frame has three equal panels measure the overall distance and just divide by three.

If your sliding door or window panels are not equal, measure each section one at a time. The combined measurements that you give should be the same as the overall width. Once again measure the drop as per the instruction above.

Inside Mount

Your blind will come with installation brackets and screws. Follow these steps for an easy installation:

With your blind you will receive two brackets - One male (Fig 1) and one female (Fig 2). The male bracket is used for the chain control side of the blind (Fig 1). The female bracket mounts on the neutral (non-control) end (Fig 2).
Place 2 screws in each bracket as per Figure 1 & 2.
Install your blind into the male bracket first (Fig 1) which is also the chain end. Before inserting the blind into the bracket make sure the two markings on top of the chain drive are facing upward (Fig 3).
Hold the chain end in position and move to the other end of the blind. Guide the metal spring loaded pin (Fig 4) into the track of the female bracket until it clicks into position.
Your blind is now installed - it can now be lowered using the chain control.
Once lowered place the plastic chain stop on the chain where it enters the chain drive. This will prevent the blind from being rolled down too far.

Outside Mount

Your blind will come with installation brackets and screws. Follow these steps for an easy installation:

With your blind you will receive two brackets - One male (Fig 1) and one female (Fig 2). The male bracket is used for the chain control side of the blind (Fig 3). The female bracket mounts on the neutral (non-control) end (Fig 4).
Hold the brackets (Fig 5) to the place on your window frame where they are to be fixed. With a pencil mark the two screw holes for each bracket.
Drill a pilot hole in the middle of each marking with a 2mm drill bit.
Now use the screws provided to fix the brackets to the window frame.
Install your blind into the male bracket which is also the chain end, making sure that the two lines at the top of the chain drive are facing upward (Fig 3).
Hold the chain end in position and move to the other end of the blind. Guide the metal spring loaded pin (Fig 4) into the track of the female bracket until it clicks into position.
Your blind is now installed - it can now be lowered using the chain control.
Once lowered place the plastic chain stop on the chain where it enters the chain drive. This will prevent the blind from being rolled down too far.

To remove your blind

To remove the blind, turn the large wheel at the neutral end (Fig 8) anti clockwise. This action will slide the metal pin inward and the blind will slide out of the bracket.
