Delivery & Timings
On average, it takes approximately 5 weeks to manufacture your Custom Made Curtains. Your order is processed the next business day and then allocated into our production schedule.
Once your Curtains have been manufactured, they will be prepared for dispatch. At this time, we will send you an email advising you of your delivery details.
Delivery times may vary dependent upon your location.
* Please note - we cannot accept a PO box for a delivery address
Our standard flat shipping rate is $33 (inc GST) per order. If your freight charges exceed this amount due to sizes, quantities ordered or a regional area outside our delivery zones, extra shipping charges may apply. In these circumstances we will call you prior to processing your order.
Authority to leave
Iseekblinds will advise you of our dispatch date when your order leaves our warehouse. As it is not possible to nominate an exact date and time of delivery, all deliveries to a nominated address must have an "Authority to Leave" the packages if no one is home to accept the delivery. If you are unable to have an "Authority to Leave" then you can nominate to collect your order from a local depot
After receiving your blinds, we ask that you inspect and report any damage within five days of delivery. Please do not attempt to install blinds that have been damaged in delivery, as this will void any warranty claim.
If iseekblinds is not notified within this period, we cannot be held responsible for the damaged item or replacement cost.
Please take a photo of the damaged goods and send through to firstname.lastname@example.org with a description of the damaged areas.
If the box is visibly damaged upon receipt, please refuse delivery and the box will be returned to iseekblinds. Please notify us immediately so that we can file a claim with the carrier.
Once iseekblinds has received the damaged goods we will immediately repair or re-manufacture your blinds provided the Delivery Insurance was paid for at the time of purchase. (See Delivery Insurance below)
Delivery Insurance - Covers you against any loss or damage to your order during transit (+2.5%)
The cost of delivery insurance (2.5% of your purchase price of products only) is automatically added to your shipping costs at the time of checkout. This covers you against any loss damage during transit. If you choose not to take out the delivery insurance, any damage or loss of your Blinds will not be covered and iseekblinds accepts no responsibility or claims.
What is the size of the ‘stack’ of the curtain fabric on an S-Fold Track?
When an S-Fold curtain is in the open position, the fabric stack is approximately 30% of the total width of the fabric.
Do I need to take the stack width into consideration when entering in my width?
Yes, specifically a stack width is an important consideration when measuring for an Outside mounted curtain. Ideally you want to ensure as much of the stack as possible sits off the window and against the wall to avoid obstructing your light and view.
I just want to order an S-fold track as a separate product. Is this possible?
Yes. Iseekblinds custom make the s-fold tracks right here in Melbourne. These tracks are sold as individual items. Simply select “Track only” when you are placing your order.
What is the difference between a top fix and a face fix bracket?
A top fix bracket is attached to the ceiling, adding elegance and height to your rooms. It is especially popular when pairing curtain sheers with inside mounted block out roller blinds. Face fix means the bracket is attached directly to the wall above the window.
What are the various drop effects for curtain?
Curtains can be hung is a number of different ways depending on the effect you are trying to create. There are 3 main ways to consider which drop is right for you. 1. ‘Breaking’ - add additional length to your curtain so that it ‘breaks’ gently over the floor. This will create a sense of luxury and grandness 2. ‘Hover’ – the curtain hovers just above the floor. Useful if you are placing furniture in front of the window such as a couch or a bed. 3. ‘Just touching’ the floor – the curtain just touches to the floor for a completed look.
