Product Warranties

Limited Lifetime Warranty (Roller Blinds; Roman Blinds;)

All custom made  iseekblinds manufactured by iseekblinds, are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. This warranty is extended to you as the original purchaser, for as long as you own the blinds in a residential application.
iseekblinds warrants that our products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for this period of time.
If warranty service is ever needed please contact iseekblinds and a repair or replacement will be arranged as quickly as possible.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Results from abuse or misuse;

  • Improper installation;

  • Normal wear and tear;

  • Exposure to the elements.

  • Maintenance and care not in accordance with the recommendations listed on this site

All materials can lose their original intensity after long periods of time in the sun. When left for extended periods in sunlight, plastics tend to crack. All cords will eventually wear out. We consider these things to be normal wear and tear and are not covered by the warranty. Colours may vary from lot to lot and may not exactly match sample swatches or previous purchases. Please be sure to order all blinds in the same room together for the best possible matching.

If your products are defective during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the defective product. This shall be your only remedy under this warranty.

iseekblinds accepts no liability for;

  • Incidental or consequential damages;

  • In no event shall we liable for transportation costs to and from iseekblinds;

  • Cost of removal or re-installation of our product/s.

Roller Blind Motor Warranty

Rollease Acmeda / iseekblinds warrants battery powered DC motors to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 5 years when installed properly and operated under normal use from the date of purchase from iseekblinds.

If a Rollease Acmeda motor and remote control is found to be defective and covered by the warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace it free of charge.

Repairs or replacements will be made with like or similar parts and products, and exclude the cost of removal and reinstallation.  This product warranty does not cover any conditions or damages resulting from misuse or abuse, accidents, alterations, neglect, damage by others, natural disasters, exposure to the elements, or failure to follow Rollease Acmeda / iseekblinds instructions with respect to installation, use and maintenance.

The repair or replacement of the defective product is the purchaser’s sole remedy and the limit of Rollease Acmeda’s / iseekblinds’ obligation. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THIS PARAGRAPH, ROLLEASE ACMEDA / ISEEKBLINDS MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, NATURE OR DESCRIPTION, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OF ANY PRODUCTS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS THE SAME. In no event shall Rollease Acmeda / iseekblinds be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damages or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee.

To return motors for inspection, please follow the steps below.

  1. Review the Motors Check list  
  2. Send an email  to sales@iseekblinds.com.au to request a Motors Return form
  3. Complete the Motors Return form
  4. Email a copy through to sales@iseekblinds.com.au
  5. Send the Motor / remote control with a copy of the form enclosed to
    • iseekblinds, 48 Latitude Boulevard, Thomastown, VIC 3074. 
    • Please ensure the motor / remote control is packaged securely.  If the product is received damaged via freight, the warranty will be void. 
    • The cost of freight to return the goods is not covered under the warranty and iseekblinds is not liable for any associated costs.
  6. Iseekblinds will use diagnostic tools to inspect the motor.  
    • Iseekblinds will repair or replace any covered, defective items and return them via express freight.
    • This process can take up to 14 days.
  7. If the product is deemed to be faulty due to reasons not covered under warranty,
    • The motor will not be returned. 
    • The motor will be made available for collection.
  8. A replacement motor can be purchased from the iseekblinds website (Spare Parts).
  9. If you choose to purchase a new motor up front, and the returned product is found to be faulty under the warranty,
    • iseekblinds will refund the purchase price and freight of this motor purchase. 
    • The refund process can take up to 14 days.

Motors Warranty Check list

Before sending your Motor back please go through the below check list to eliminate any other possible reasons for failure:

1. Did you have the correct float when you installed your roller blinds? Ie the blind was not fitted ‘tight’ inside the brackets?*
2.*Refer to video 4 – How to install a Roller Blind with a Motor 
3. Have you charged the Motor Battery?
4. Is the Remote Control battery flat?
5. Have you changed the battery in the Remote Control?
6. Has the Remote Control been accidentally reset to factory settings?
7. Has the Remote Control been dropped and therefore not working correctly?
8. Have you tried pairing this motor to a spare remote control to eliminate the initial remote control as an issue?
9. These motors operate on a frequency of 433Mhz. Is the frequency being interrupted by a new appliance in your house? ie even a door bell can disrupt the frequency
10. Have you installed USB Repeaters to help with range and strength of signal?

Plantation Shutters Basswood Warranty

iseekblinds warrants its internal Basswood Plantation Shutters for a period of five years, and its componentry for a period of one (1) year, for any defects in material or workmanship.

This warranty does not include freight and installation costs. The warranty is in addition to any other obligations imposed by law. To make a claim against the 'Terms & Conditions of Warranty' the original invoice is required. By placing an order with iseekblinds, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions set out in this warranty policy.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Misuse or abuse

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Overexposure to moisture

  • Maintenance and care not in accordance with the recommendations listed on this site

  • Incorrect installation

  • Incorrect measuring or ordering

  • Damage to premises

  • Use of silicon based sprays

PVC Plantation Shutters Warranty

iseekblinds warrants its internal PVC shutters for a period of five years, and its componentry for a period of one (1) year, for any defects in material or workmanship.

This warranty does not include freight and installation costs. The warranty is in addition to any other obligations imposed by law. To make a claim against the 'Terms & Conditions of Warranty' the original invoice is required. By placing an order withiseekblinds, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions set out in this warranty policy.

PVC Material - Width & Weight

Important please note:  Due to the weight and nature of PVC shutters it is common for panel widths that are greater, but not limited to, 750mm to drop slightly once they  have been opened out of the frame and will need to be lifted gently to be closed back into the frame. I seek blinds considers this normal for this type of shutter and therefore is not subject to any fault or warranty claim.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation

  • Incorrect measuring or ordering

Honeycomb Blinds 

Iseekblinds warrants its internal honeycomb blinds or a period of 2 years, and its componentry for a period of one (1) year, for any defects in material or workmanship.

This warranty does not include freight and installation costs. The warranty is in addition to any other obligations imposed by law. To make a claim against the 'Terms & Conditions of Warranty' the original invoice is required. By placing an order with iseekblinds, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions set out in this warranty policy.

This warranty does not cover

  • Results from abuse or misuse;

  • Improper installation;

  • Normal wear and tear;

  • Exposure to the elements

  • Maintenance and care not in accordance with the recommendations listed on this site

Safelift Cordless Venetians

Iseekblinds warrants its internal Safelift Cordless Venetians for a period of 2 years, and its componentry for a period of one (1) year, for any defects in material or workmanship.

This warranty does not include freight and installation costs. The warranty is in addition to any other obligations imposed by law. To make a claim against the 'Terms & Conditions of Warranty' the original invoice is required. By placing an order with iseekblinds, you are accepting the Terms and Conditions set out in this warranty policy.

This warranty does not cover

Faulty Goods

After receiving your goods, we ask that you inspect and report any faults within 14 days of delivery. If you receive a product that is faulty, please follow the steps below:

1/ Take a photo of the product to demonstrate the fault

2/ Email it through to sales@iseekblinds.com.au with a description of the issue

You can also call Customer Service on 1300 664 257 to report the fault.

The team here at iseekblinds will assess the situation. If the product is deemed faulty, iseekblinds will replace the product free of charge. Alternatively, you have the option of asking for a full refund.

*Please note, you (the Purchaser) have 14 days from the receipt of your blinds to advise us of any faults including marks or defects on the fabric or product. We ask that you inspect your purchase thoroughly when you receive it. After this time has passed no claims for marks or defects in the fabric or product will be accepted under this warranty. It will be considered as normal wear and tear, results from misuse, improper installation or exposure to the elements as stated above.
