Enjoy two blinds on the one bracket with Double Roller Blinds. The latest innovation in blinds, Double Roller Blinds have been developed to fit two blinds onto the one bracket. This means you can have a Sunscreen Blind and a Blockout Blind on one window, without the space and installation concerns of two separate blinds.

Choose from a wide range of colours to give your room that perfect finishing touch. For the Sunscreen Blind, you have the entire iseekblinds sunscreen range to choose from.  And for the Blockout Blind, you have a wide range of beautiful fabrics to select from.  Double Roller Blinds will bring an extra dimension to your room.

Our commitment to quality

All our blinds are cut using the latest ultra sonic cutting technology. This technology cuts and seals the fabric, preventing frayed and wavy edges, giving your blinds a perfect finish.

What's great about our internal sunscreen fabrics is that they block between 86% and 95% of UV rays. So your flooring and furniture are protected from fading and they can help to reduce your energy consumption.

World class quality

Double Roller Blinds from iseekblinds.com.au are made with superior components and roll tubes. Standing proudly on the global scene, our compenents are the best when it comes to manufacturing blind components.

Things to Remember

Always use a steel tape for accuracy - make sure the tape measure is straight and tight when you take your measurements

Always measure in millimetres (mm)

Measure all windows, even those that appear to be the same width and height

Do not take any deductions (i seek will do this for you)

Determine Type of Mount & Operation Type

Firstly you need to consider whether you can mount your blinds on the inside or outside of your window frame. The depth you need to flush inside mount your double roller blinds is 122mm for the 'Front Rolled Operation' & the 'Combination Roll Operation', however this can be as little as 60mm if you choose the 'Standard Installation Operation' (details below).

Operation - (See Specifications for more details)
  1. Standard
    Both blinds are back rolled

  2. Front Rolled
    Both blinds are front rolled

  3. Combination Roll
Rear blind is back rolled and Front Blind is front rolled

In most cases the Sunscreen blind will be the back blind and the block out blind at the front. This can be reversed when you are outside mounting these blinds and wish to keep the block out blind closest to the window for better privacy and room darkening.

Outside Mount

Measure Roller Blind Outside Mount

To measure a double roller blind on the outside of your window frame measure the width from the edge of the architrave to the edge of the architrave at the top of your window frame.

Measure the drop from the top of the architrave to the bottom of the architrave. This measurement may be increased if you want your blind to drop past the bottom of your window frame or to the floor.

I Seek Blinds will not make any deductions for outside mounted blinds.

Multiple Double Roller Blinds Together (Sliding Doors)

The same applies for multiple blinds as per the instructions above however, in this case you can mount the brackets back to back. If your window frame has three equal panels measure the overall distance and just divide by three.

If your sliding door or window panels are not equal, measure each section one at a time. The combined measurements that you give should be the same as the overall width. Once again measure the drop as per the instruction above.

Inside Mount

Your blind will come with installation brackets and screws. Follow these steps for an easy installation:

  1. With your blind you will receive two brackets - One male (Fig 1) and one female (Fig 2). The male bracket is used for the chain control side of the blind. The female bracket mounts on the neutral (non-control) end.

  2. Place 2 screws in each bracket as per Figure 1 & 2.

  3. Install your back blind into the male bracket first (Fig 1) which is also the chain end. Before inserting the blind into the bracket make sure the two markings on top of the chain drive are facing upward (Fig 3).

  4. Hold the chain end in position and move to the other end of the blind. Guide the metal spring loaded pin into the track of the female bracket until it clicks into position.

  5. Your back blind is now installed - it can now be lowered using the chain control.

  6. Repeat steps 3, 4 & 5 to install your front blind.

  7. Once lowered place the plastic chain stops on the chain where it enters the chain drive. This will prevent the blinds from being rolled down too far.

Outside Mount

Your blind will come with installation brackets and screws. Follow these steps for an easy installation:

  1. With your blind you will receive two brackets - One male (Fig 5) and one female (Fig 6). The male bracket is used for the chain control side of the blind (Fig 5). The female bracket mounts on the neutral (non-control) end (Fig 6).

  2. Hold the brackets level with the edge of the architrave. With a pencil mark the 2 screw holes for each bracket (Fig 4).

  3. Drill a pilot hole in the middle of each marking with a 2mm drill bit.

  4. Now use the screws provided to fix the brackets to the window frame.

  5. Install your back blind into the male bracket which is also the chain end, making sure that the two lines at the top of the chain drive are facing upward (Fig 3).

  6. Hold the chain end in position and move to the other end of the blind. Guide the metal spring loaded pin into the track of the female bracket until it clicks into position.

  7. Your back blind is now installed - it can now be lowered using the chain control.

  8. Now repeat steps 5,6 & 7 to install your front blind.

  9. Once lowered place the plastic chain stops on the chain where it enters the chain drive. This will prevent the blinds from being rolled down too far.

To remove your blinds

To remove your blinds one at a time, turn the large wheel at the neutral end (Fig 7) anti clockwise. This action will slide the metal pin inward and the blind will slide out of the bracket.

Fig 7. Remove the blind by twisting the end until the metal pin retracts
